PEF 2010 Summer Enrichment Program
Registration is now underway for seventh annual PEF Summer Enrichment program. This year we are pleased to offer over 40 different enrichment classes, including popular favorties along with some new and exciting offerings. Kindergarten thru 8th grade students can choose from a variety of classes that include creative writing, math, art, drama, foreign languages, yoga, music, and chess.
City of Pasadena Parks & Rec Summer Program
Parks and Rec will provide a Summer Park Program at a variety of city parks this summer. Activities include arts and crafts, swimming, sports, field trips, nature walks, and more for children ages 5-14.
The City of Pasadena Human Services and Recreation Department also offers a variety of other programs and classes for people of all ages, including golf, swimming, tennis, etc.

Summer Reading Opportunities
- The Pasadena Public Library has a free Summer Reading Club. You get a free bag, log to record the books you read, and prizes each week for reading. Check out the schedule of activities at

Caltech/NASA Summer of Innovation
Caltech will participate in NASA's Summer of Innovation with two FREE programs designed to inspire and excite youth about our universe.

This stunning high-definition movie will serve as the springboard for a lively discussion about the science behind the beauty and wonder of nature. Takematsu will introduce the film and guide the post-screening discussion.

Free Summer Music Concerts
- Levitt Pavilion in Pasadena (Memorial Park - corner of Walnut and Raymond) - free music concerts every Wednesday - Sunday night from June 23rd through August 29th.
- Farnsworth Park in Altadena - Saturdays at 7pm, from July 3 - Sept 11.
- La Canada-Flintridge free music in Memorial Park (1301 Foothill Blvd, La Canada Flintridge) - Sunday nights, 6-8pm through August 29th.
- City Sounds Concerts in Monrovia - Sundays at 7pm at Library Park, July 11-Aug. 8.
- Concerts in the Park in Arcadia - Thursdays, 6:30-8pm, City Hall West Lawn. Kids Fun Zone available.
- Concerts in the Park in Temple City - Wednesdays, 7-9pm from June 16 - September 1 in Temple City Park.
Beverages and snacks are available for purchase. Country, Classic Rock, and music from all decades can be enjoyed in a fun-family setting.
